  1. VETERANS WITH INCOMPLETE HEALTH CARE APPLICATIONS RECEIVE ADDITIONAL YEAR TO ENROLL
    Mar 8, 2016  -  WASHINGTON – The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced today it will extend the healthcare enrollment application period for one year to approximately 545,000 living Veterans that have pending incomplete enrollment applications.
    STATE AND FEDERAL VA TO HOST SUPERMARKET OF VETERANS BENEFITS
    Feb 12, 2016  -  BIRMINGHAM – The Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs (ADVA), together with the Birmingham VA Medical Center, will host a Supermarket of Veterans Benefits from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19th. The event will be held in the auditorium of the Birmingham VA Medical Center.
    OPERATION ENTRUST MY VA ALABAMA TO HOLD COMMUNITY FORUM
    Feb 8, 2016  -  Public forum for veterans, service members, their families and those who advocate on their behalf can come out and learn who is on the Operation Entrust Board and what this new innovative program is about. Members of the military, veterans and the media are invited to attend.
    MYVA OPERATION ENTRUST TO HOST ITS INAUGURAL COMMUNITY FORUM ON FEBRUARY 10th
    Feb 4, 2016  -  BIRMINGHAM –The MyVA Operation Entrust Alabama Community Board will conduct its first community forum on Wednesday, February 10th from 5:00-6:30 pm at Ramsey High School, located at 1800 13th Avenue, South. The forum is open to all Veterans, family members, caregivers, Veteran Service Organizations and members of the public. The Operation Entrust Board is charged with building relationships in the community between, local, state and federal service providers. Operation Entrust Board is designed to bring together leaders, resources and advocates to improve outcomes and experiences of Veterans, service personnel and their families.
