The Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs has 79 offices located in 67 counties throughout the State of Alabama serving 450,000 veterans and their family members. The Department's Headquarters is located in the R.S.A. Plaza Building, 770 Washington Avenue, Suite 470 in Montgomery. 

If you need assistance with any veteran related claim or issue, please contact your County Veterans Service Office.  Our Veterans Service Officers are located in the local courthouse or in the immediate vicinity and are assigned to counsel and file VA claims for veterans and their family members.  Occasionally, when needed, some County Veteran Service Officers will travel to other Alabama counties to provide this assistance.  To find your nearest County Veterans Service Officer, click here or the hyperlink below.
